Handsome Uzi

This month my girlfriend, Kate, and I moved in to a house in the Fishtown neighborhood of Philadelphia. This photo will serve as a memory of my time dating her at her old apartment in center city. She lived right across the street from Monk's cafe, a few blocks from Rittenhouse square. I had been working at the Curtis Institute, right on the square, so after work I'd jet over to her apartment to spend the evening with her or meet up to go out.

Her cat, Uzi, is a very handsome but physically disabled little guy with the most intense yellow eyes. In this photo I tried to pull out the intensity of his eyes and convey the love that Kate and Uzi have for each other. I'll miss that little apartment and my time there with them but we are on to better times.
